I can't sign in.
Kollo uses Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google — there's no separate Kollo password. Make sure you're using the same Apple ID or Google account you signed up with. If Apple or Google sign-in itself is failing, check Settings > [your name] > Sign-In & Security (Apple) or your Google Account security settings — the issue is usually on their side, not Kollo's.
How do I delete my account?
In Kollo, go to Settings > Delete Account, then confirm. This permanently deletes your profile, your friendships, your photos and videos in collections you own, and removes you from collections you've joined. If you currently own a collection you want to keep active for other participants, transfer ownership to someone else first — deleting your account while you're still the owner deletes that collection for everyone. Account deletion cannot be undone.

How do I turn notifications on or off?
In Kollo, go to Settings — the Notifications toggle opens your iPhone's notification settings for Kollo directly, since this is controlled by iOS, not by a setting inside the app.
How do I change Photos access?
Same idea — the Automatic Photo Sync toggle in Kollo Settings opens your iPhone's Photos permission screen for Kollo, where you can choose Full Access, Limited Access, or None.
What does Automatic Photo Sync actually do?
When it's on and you've granted Full Photos access, Kollo scans your photo library in the background and automatically adds new photos and videos that match an active collection's date range to that collection. You stay in control — you can exclude specific time windows from sync ("private gaps") for any collection, or turn sync off entirely, at any time from within that collection's settings.
Kollo is designed to leave out screenshots and images saved or re-downloaded from other apps when it can identify them with reasonable confidence — this isn't perfect and some imported images may still be included. If Apple's Sensitive Content Analysis feature is available and turned on, Kollo may briefly hold a flagged photo for your review before it uploads.
How do I stop Auto Sync or set a private gap?
Open the collection, go to its settings, and turn off automatic sync or add a time window you don't want included. This doesn't remove anything already uploaded — it only affects what happens going forward.
-
How do I join a collection?
Join a Group or Event using an invite link, a shared QR code, or a direct friend invite. Some collections require the host to approve join requests before you get access.
How do I leave a collection?
Open the collection, go to its settings, and choose Leave. Your uploaded photos remain unless you delete them yourself first.
How do I delete photos or videos I uploaded?
Open the photo or video in the collection, and use the delete option. You can only delete media you uploaded yourself, unless you're the collection owner.
What happens to a collection if the owner deletes their account?
If the owner didn't transfer ownership first, the collection and its content are deleted for all participants when the owner's account is deleted.
-
How do I report a user or content?
Use the report option on a profile, collection, or piece of media. Reports go to Kollo directly and aren't visible to the person you reported.
My account was blocked or suspended — why?
This usually follows a violation of the Terms or Community Guidelines. If you think it was a mistake, email edvin.lapinski@gmail.com to ask for a review.
Blocking someone — what does it do?
It stops new friend requests, invites, and messages between you and that person. It does not automatically remove either of you from a shared collection you're both already in.

To access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to ask a question about how Kollo handles it, email edvin.lapinski@gmail.com. We may need to verify it's really you before acting on the request.

- Make sure you have an internet connection and Photos access is set to Full (not Limited).
- Large videos can take longer to upload — check the collection for an upload-in-progress indicator before assuming it failed.
- If a photo shows a retry option, tap it to try again.
- Still stuck? Email edvin.lapinski@gmail.com with the collection name and roughly when the issue happened.
